"Marketing, Renegade Style" with B. Alan Bourgeois

Marketing, Renegade Style has helped authors think outside the traditional box of publishing and marketing, with great results.  This award winning session is full of energy and audience participation.

B Alan Bourgeois has been writing for over 25 years in a wide variety of forms and genre's, winning a couple of awards along the way.  He has also worked as a publisher for 6 of those years before creating three non-profits that support authors in non-traditional and progressive ways.  Bourgeois currently runs Texas Authors, Inc., DEAR Texas, Inc. and Texas Authors Institute of History.  Each giving Texas authors new opportunities to increase awareness and desire for their books.

Through his non-profits, he has created new ways to market and sell books that benefits those who use his concepts and ideas, and he continues to think of new ways to galvanize authors into creating stronger programs that benefit their financial needs.

Bourgeois also offers consultation services for those authors seeking to publish their book through his company Bourgeois Media & Consulting.  He will have a new book out in late 2017 about the new changes yet to come to the publishing industry.

The Writers Guild of Texas presents Guest Speaker / Program meetings on the 3rd Monday of each month in the Basement Program room of the Richardson Public Library. Visitors are welcome to attend.
